    Just watched Dragons Den and seen two bright people give away half of what they had worked and slaved at for years, for peanuts.
    At least hold onto 51%.Angel investors are really in the driving seat these days .
    Get the bloody banks to get the finger out and start releasing money to guys who have the courage and talent to get quality products on the market.
    I think what the dragons are doing is daylight robbery to be honest .

    they have slaved for years and got nothing, if they give away half their company for 'peanuts' and get success then its worth it.

    Half of something is better than all of nothing.

    Yes I understand that but if in the future they need to bring somebody else on board then they have all control lost .50% is ridiculous to me .One of the rules should be that no more than 40% of equity should be given.
