    I havent taken the best care of my teeth over the years but im going to start , I have a few questions

    1.How many times should one brush daily, whats the minimum?whats optimal?

    2.Are electrontic tooth brushes better than regular ones and whats the best tooth brush?

    3.Whats the best toothpaste and is flossing a good idea and are mouth washes benificial?

    You ought to brush twice a day for 2 minutes.Electric brushes are quite good. I use oral b triumph.oral b pulsar is a cheaper alternative if you'd like to try it first before splashing out. there's a device that times the 2 mins. Use your floss twice a day.Toothpastes are all quite similar. Ideally use one with over 1000ppm fluoride(it's written on back). I use colgate total because i like the taste and once applied will suffice for the 2 mins.apparrently it's also most effective against the bacteria that cause gum disease(i think!). Use your floss twice a day.Mouthrinse twice a day too. I like kin the most but once again check for fluoride which is important.A lot contain alcohol-I find it's quite harsh on my mouth.In US you can get listerine without alcohol I'm told.Hope that helps.
