    Hi guys,
Its time for an upgrade so i am selling my Sako Quad it is fitted with the .22LR barrell.
The barell is threaded for a mod, there is 1 5 round mag with it, but i do have 4 10 round mags as well if they were needed.
The trigger has been adjusted, it breaks at just about 2lbs really "crispley" (is that a word !!)
I am not selling the scope that is pictured with the rifle, unless you really want it.
The rifle is very clean, has been well looked after, has shot approx 300 rounds, and i have the box it came in.
I am looking for €500.00 for the rifle. pictures here : http://s332.photobucket.com/albums/m332/christyler_photos/Sako/

No there are no extraction problems either, In fact there are no problems at all, none, not even one.

As i said the rifle is perfect.

Yes i see what you mean, that does look strange. But still i can assure you there is no rust anywhere, it must be so bazzar trick of the light or something, the rifle is kept in a dehumidified gun room.

Mabe i could respectifully request that if your not interested in buying the rifle, you could refrain for posting negative comments that can only serve to put off prospective buyers.

Whats the point in having an items for sale section if people just rip the pi** out of items for sale just because they dont want it.

I am quite dissapointed with the totally negative responces posted here, i would have expected better from fellow shooters.

Hold your horses there, cowboy !

I looked at the picture and it looked to me like rust ! If you had explained as you have above instead of your initial smart answer you would be better off !

The questions the other lads asked are very relevant to Sako Quad's in .22lr, as they are prone to problems in these areas, a fact you are obviously not aware of and therefore you presumed they are critizing

You offered a rifle for sale at a very good price and prospective buyers asked questions totally relevant to the sale and you rekon we're wasting your time

A friend of mine was interested BTW

So you thought it was rust !!! I thought it was criticism !!! Seems we were both wrong, that makes us human:)

    Horses now held.

Yes as you rightly pointed out, i had know idea that other rifles had these problems.
All i saw was three posts asking was there any problems after i had already said the rifle is perfect

I am more than happy to answer questions from prospective buyers.

The rifle is still for sale, I have uploaded some more pictures (Taken in the daylight)

He has a rifle and he has to shift it to put the Quad on the licence and he can't find a dealer to take it in for sale even

    Bunny Shooter,

Thanks, thats good, i hope to hear from him, it's not easy to sell rifles at the moment so i hope he has better luck than me. Thank you for input i appriciate it.

Yes it can be difficult at the moment to find a helpfull dealer, They have got a bit of a bad deal out of the new laws , i think.
I would be able to help him with a dealer to take it in for sale for him, ask him to call me.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,096 ✭✭✭bunny shooter

Ya, even dealers don't want to take them in as they have enough of their own stock they can't shift.

To cut it up will cost him money even

I'll chat with him later ;)
