MY friend is selling his house.
He installed a 6ft wide x 5 ft high window at the front on the garage in 2005.
The garage has planning permission from 1997.
Does he need to get planning permission for the window.HE,S concerned cos he is gonna put the house up for sale in 2 weeks.
He does not want any delays,in regard to planning or permits.
Does he need to get it surveyed by a surveyor in regard to building regulations.
HE plastered the walls inside and put in a plaster ceiling ,in 2004.
THE garage was already built when he bought the house.
HE installed a 6ftx5ft window at the rear of the garage too.

I wouldn't have thought it makes too much difference once the room is still being used as a Garage and not a bedroom, for instance. Mind you I could be completely wrong.
