Hey, St. Pat's is kind of like a big secondary school rather than a college! You'll see what I mean when you've been there a while! It's nice though, very easy to make friends and all that. Best of luck with it!

yea i have to second that... im a past student myself and loved it there!!! there's only around 2000 students total and its really easy to make friends cause all the people there are working towards the same thing. males to females is prob around 20 males out of every hundred students.. women defo in the majority..
Jus a personal observation but to me the men fall into two categories the nerdy geeks and the 'jock' slackers..
But its defo an awesome place to got to college, you'll have a ball there!!
    Good Luck

I enjoyed St Pats, though I know of a few people who absolutely disliked it. They felt it was like still being in a convent. Fortunately, I got on well with people in my class. That makes a huge difference. The GAA crowd can be a little annoying as they feel like they own the place and some of the lecturers can be neurotic with the amount of pointless notes you have to do for teaching practise.

I'm being highly negative here, just highlighting bad points. I reckon you will have a ball!!!!!!

Pats is great. You'll get on well no matter what sort of person you are. People are v.friendly if you make the effort to be friendly to them. Remember everyone is in the same boat, looking for new friends. Campus is a huge bonus if you can get it. If ur not on it dont worry... find friends who are. Craic centers there.

As for the football crowd feeling like they own the place, ya kinda true. But thats just because all the "typical Pats lads" play GAA. This coming from a member of the Gaa crowd :D We're not so bad.

Also more then Jocks-Geeks with the lads. Look harder bget. :P Plenty of studious lads into sports.
