Looks like Ed Joyce could possibly play for Ireland in the ODI world cup in Feb next year..

    Source : Cricinfo

A long shot, but I reckon Ireland would benefit if it happens..

Well I would be happy to see him back here, it could greatly help our World Cup campaign,

and how do people feel about Kyle coming back?, I think it would be great to see him playing again, a terrific player for Ireland over the years...

I think Ed Joyce would play for Ireland in the World Cup, but I doubt he's given up on playing test cricket for England, so if he was invited to play for England at any point between now & then he'd take it.

Kyle McCallan coming back would be excellent, as he's a great team guy and would be very good at mentoring the newer players, especially the spinners like George Dockrell.

I think this is a strong possibility.

He was getting runs last season in 4 day matches, but England passed him over.
I think he may be considered to not be up to it by Englands selectors.

I agree 100%, he'd be a great addition to the team and provide really strong runs at the top of the order.

What I really meant was that I'm sure his ambition hasn't waned, and if he feels he still has what it takes to play test cricket, he won't turn down an opportunity to prove to people he can do just that.

As an Irish supporter, I really do hope he comes back.
