Aztech HW550-3G & 3Ireland ?

i have an Aztech hw550-3G router. It works well with the Huawei E180 (vodafone) anf the Huawei E122 (meteor)

but i want to use 3Irelands Huawei E122, as three have better coverage where i am.

The specs for my router don't list the E122 as compatible, but has anyone tried it?


also.. is the Meteor dongle locked to the network, i was thinking that i could pop the 3 sim into it ..

any ideas??

Meteor & 3 dongles are locked to their respective networks

Have you had any problems with the e122 and router?
I got the modem this week and so far have tried a netgear MBR624GU and a Edimax nlite and neither worked. The help you get from netgear is useless. I just want to check before I start chasing a supplier for Aztech.

works fine.. no problems really.

occasionally you might need to restart the router, or disconnect and reconnect.

but i've found this with all 3g dongles

Good to hear you are up and running. I was recommended a Dovado 3G router so in the end that is what I got.
Just for anyone else reading this thread it took no effort to set up and get running and has been performing without any hiccups at all - very pleased.

how did you get it to work? I can't seem to get it to connect to the internet?

any help would be appreciated..
