    Barker vs belgecham on the 9th of april on audleys harrisons undercard for macklins now vacated EBU title. Barker new european middle weight champ? what do you chaps think?

    That was a nice snatch by Barker. He needed to fight a decent level opponent and his management have got him one. I imagine it will be similar to the Lee fight. Comfortable points decision for him. Middleweight division is really heating up now.

    If Duddy beats Chavez Jr in June, Arum says he will get him a fight against Pavlik next.

    Matthew Macklin must be close to getting a world title or eliminator if he's vacating his belt.

    Hopefully Lee fights a quality opponent in May and gets himself up the rankings. There were rumours of promising American youngster Daniel Jacobs but I don't think that is happening.

    Macklin's old foe Jamie Moore is in the middleweight division now too so I'm sure he will be in the reckoning also.

    Exciting times indeed. We have to see at least one of them taking each other in over the next year. :)
