Granted the two aren't very comfortable companions, I don't really have a choice in the matter. I need to be able to get to driving ranges and golf clubs using Dublin Bus. So to help my cause; anyone know of any Driving Ranges and Golf Clubs that have Bus routes/stops no more than a 5/10 minute walk from them?

    Cheers.

Roscrea Golf Club Dublin - Limerick bus passes right by it. Stop is 500 yards away. Not sure if this is what your looking for.

Yeah it'd be for Dublin only. Thanks for the suggestion though.

On the Celbridge Lucan road the bus passes right by Celbridge Driving Range, Lucan Golf Club, and Hermitage GC.

Coming from Maynooth, there's a bus stop right outside the gates into Carton, although it's a good 15-minute walk to the clubhouse from there, and 20 to the GUI centre.

    Where are you coming from?

Spawell Driving Range is right beside the 150 / 54a bus stop and Grange Castle golf course has a bus stop directly out side it; Bus through Saggart 69 i think would do you for city west
Isn't it south county that is on the 65 route to Blessington from city centre

Coming from the Northside; Glasnevin. I'm thinking that driving range on the airport route and Elm Green out in Blanchardstown might be the best options.

On your side of city, as mentioned, clontarf is very close to bus. portmarnock links is on a bus route also and not too far from the dart. Sillogue is on the bus too and is similar type of course to elmgreen. elmgreen is a bit of a trek from the bus stops on navan road. Deer park in Howth is on a bus route and nearish to the dart. St annes is on the bus a shortish walk over the access bridge. The 9 hole course at Sutton golf club is on the bus and near the dart. You can get reasonably close to Hollystown on the bus now too.

It's a bit more awkward without a car, but there are plenty of options for you. If one of your playing partners has a car leaving your clubs with them most of the time and getting around on bike might make it easier.

    St annes on bull island,
id imagine howth is probably on a bus stop,

If you fancied the Dart journey to greystones, then charlesland is a great option. it has a driving range next door too.

Yep, the 65 stops right outside South County GC. Bit of a uphill climb to the clubhouse mind you.

    Many buses go by Spawell.

Bus stop in front of Edmonstown GC as well.
