When the boys are allowed to read a banned book in their class, it inspires them to write their own masterpieces.
But it isn’t long before Stan’s mom finds out and the boys have to work fast to stay out of trouble.

The episode was ok, not as good as the first .
Butter's was great once again as always when he gets a story.
I won't give too much away until its has aired over here.

7/10 - Good, but far from the best.

Much, much better than the first episode which I thought was poor for an opening episode.

To be fair, I don't think the current season (even though it is only two episodes old) rates that well against the previous.

It's almost as if South Park reached a pinnacle around seasons 6/7/8, continued strong for a good while and now seems to be losing some momentum.

The episodes are definitely still funny but can sometimes be a bit strained.
I'm still a big fan though.

I thought it was far superior to the first episode and the funniest episode they've done in ages.

    9/10 from me.

Two solid episodes so far, though the puking got a bit old. As someone with a BA in english from UCD, with a module in children's literature and all, I can very much appreciate where Matt and Trey where going with the whole "reading into things was too much" skit.

8/10 for me. Slight improvement on the last episode. Thankfully, nowhere near the lows of the first half of last season.

Loved the bit when the kids were with SJP in front of some senate or something trying to explain that the book had no deeper meaning. Also the Morgan Freeman reading is fantastic

Thought it was a decent episode but it really could have done without milking the puking bit.

Butters great as ever, same for Stan's parents! Wasn't bowled away by it.

Seems like they took out any direct slagging of the Cather and the Rye out and replaced it with MOAR vomiting as they felt that their audience hadnt probably read it.

They weren't slagging Catcher in the Rye, they were slagging the people who read these books and take what's said in such a nonsensical way. Catcher in the Rye says nothing about killing Phonies in it yet people get this **** from it. THAT WAS THE JOKE

Sorry I posted that late last night. I messed up my point. The writers skirted around the book and reaction to it for more vomit jokes.
