    Pub Talk again.
Which one item ,that you own is your most precious?.If your house was on fire which one thing would you save . Would you run back in to save it?

Some of the answers that came up were :Ipod , Mobile phone , wallet, divorce papers(apparently happiest moment of his life), autographed football shirt , laptop , wedding album ,used condom collection (i am hoping this one was a joke). One said he would die to save his dog(not sure if its an item).

For me it was my mobile , boring i know but have to much info/photos on it and its not copied.

As many photos as I could carry after that the rest can burn because it's all replaceable.

Can't understand anyone who would go back for a phone tbh. I feckin' hate mine as it is & often put it on silent or switch it off for some peace.

Why not back up those photo's and info?

I guess my computer, my wallet is constantly with me, so that doesn't even count, ditto my phone.

So, either my computer or my sister I guess...tough choice.

Handbag normally contains all my wallet, make up, keys, IPOD so I would just grab that.

If he was a regular he would have spelt it "Yore MA" but he probably still would have said it.

My computer... I should really back up all my college stuff. Although I'd more than likely have the backup in the house as well... so I'd probably just cut my losses and take one of my guitars.

Get with the times! A lot of people's photo albums these days are their phones ot their computers!

Especially if you are lazy like me and dont back them up anywhere, never mind print them out.

Yeah but photographs that were taken of me & the family back in the day are hard to replace.
Yes I could scan & save them but that's a lot of effort.
I plan to wait until my niece is old enough to do it & I'll bribe her with a €20 to copy them all!

Probably one of my external hard drives, lots of stuff backed up on them. Passport situation should be sorted by the time I want to leave the country, so I could leave that.

Also wouldn't mind a good excuse for a new computer :pac:

I have a little box full of Dad's things.

His last diary, his father's pipe (which he carved the date in when his Dad died), tons of really old photos, birthday cards he gave me etc etc

So, seen as that's only thing I own that is irreplaceable, it would have to be that.

You can get a firebox, if you put it in a fairly empty ground room it should be enough to save stuff like that. They only protect from flame really (the heat could still combust paper inside) that's why it has to be left in a place that won't suffer much intense heat..
