Hello. I am hoping to build a garage beside my house and want to have a slate roof to match with my house .... as advised by local planning dept. I was wondering if anyone here has experience with slate effect cladding. Does it look good and retain it's look? Is it easy to use and does it reduce much the cost in comparison…

from one job where ive seen it used i would not reccomend it as it weeps badly and dosnt look like the real thing .
its not that cheap and i would be inclined to spend the bit extra and go with slates to match the house or use black box profile cladding.
