waiting list for masters

Hi I just found out today that I am on the waiting list for a masters. They wont tell me what number I am. Just wondering has any of ye been in a similiar situation. Like whats the chances of me getting onto the course. I want it soooooo bad.:mad:

Seems a bit strange that they won't tell you where you are on the list. Have you spoken to the course co-ordinator?

Anyway, I was on a waiting list for a master's last year, and got offered a place in the end. Was the same for a friend of mine for a different course.

thanks for the replies what number were you on the waiting list tailginner. Trying to contact the school but they wont reply. all i can do is keep trying, fingers crossed ill get it!

Well, they told me I was first on the waiting list and there were 50 places available on my course, so I was fairly confident. Not sure if that helps, I guess most master's courses have smaller numbers.
