Problem with m9 mag

Out of nowhere a rattle has developed in my m9 mag. It sounds like some metal piece has come loose and is rattling about in the gas part of the mag. It still holds gas alright without leaking but it's very annoying and kills any stealth.

any ideas what i can do? Apart from unscrewing the O ring type yoke at the bottom there is no obvious way of dismantling the mag.

    EDIT: it's a kjworks mag

Buy a new one mate, I dont think gas mags are worth the effort of messing with...

New mags are €25 a piece, whereas fixing your current ones is considerably less

Thats very true, but Ive had mags that I tried for hours to fix, and they just kept leaking or whatever was wrong with them...

Then I get pissed off with them, and whoosh!!

    Straight in the bin... :D

Well in my opinion they're worth fixing (or at least trying to), as I can't afford to buy a new mag every time one of mine starts leaking a little.

I don't own an M9 so I don't know how the mags come apart, but I'm going to assume they're like most mags and that they'll either have a screw on the bottom or pins through the side (near the bottom). Take them out, open it up and find out whats rattling around in there.

KJ M9 mags are very easy to take apart, bang out the 2 pins at the lower portion of the magazine and the bottom plate and valve assembly pops out the bottom. It's probably the metal tube that connects to the filling valve that has become disconnected, its not strictly necessary and hence doesn't effect the magazine.

They can be a little fiddly to get back in alright, just keep at it and they'll go in.
What I usually do is put a small screwdriver in the opposite side I'm putting the pin in, so that I know its lined up and then push the pin in while pushing the screwdriver out (I hope that made some sort of sense).

    Edit: Nevermind, you got it....

Glad to hear you got it back in, a stubby hammer is the best tool to use. :)
    What was banging around inside?
