    Hi everyone

    Im thinkin of buying an iphone can anyone advise me b4 i purchase. Are dey a good purchase? Is the battery life gud etc...........?
    Is there a differece between 02 and vodafone?

    perhaps going to both vodafone and o2's websites and comparing price plans would be a good place to start?

    the phone is the same price on both networks

    Iphone is certainly a great purchase, battery life is reasonably good, i use it a lot and easily lasts a full day.

    But you and the other poster need to learn a little bit manners of your own.

    She is a user with little or no post counts, indicates she doesn't use the site much in the couple of months she's been here.
    The original post wasn't that bad for text speak.

    Explain the general site rules and run of things. But don't be a cock about it.

    Makes things work better and reduces new users feeling threatened by more established posters

    Couldn't disagree more... Battery life is rubbish. I had a 2G one that I had to stop using then bought a 3GS when it came out and I can't get more than 8 hours out of either with light enough usage.

    Something wrong with your phone so, 8 hours battery life with light useage, bring it back to apple and ask for a replacement, I'm a very heavy user and get a full day easy out of it, granted it needs to be charged every night.
    Battery is not great on any of the current generation of touch screen phones, I think the iPhone is getting a bad reputation re battery life as there are so many apps to play with that they are used a lot more than a standard phone.

    OP only difference between o2 and VF is coverage, pricing is the same, just depends which network has best signal where you are.

    Thanks, I have seen loads of people writtin in text speak so didnt think it made any difference.
