3D Demo in DID Blanchardstown

    There was\is apparently a unveiling\demo of one of the first 3D TVs in DID Blanchardstown either last night or tonight...anyone heard anything about this? Anyone go if it was on last night and was it any good?

    EDIT - It was on Wednesday night...missed it!

    I didn't see the demo in DID but I was in London last weekend and Harrods had the new sony 3d set up.

    I was quite surprised how good it looked. They demoed(spelling) a football match and a few games which werent playable . As a avid gamer it adds a whole new experience to gaming. They had a racing game and it actually feels like your in the car

    it was a 52inch Bravia and they said it will retail at £2500. They didnt give a price on the glasses.

    If I was going to upgrade to 3d I would wait till the next range is out. It might be a year or two but by that stage we will know if 3D is the real deal
