    Hi there

I have light brown hair (kind of mousey brown) but want to make it darker but still have some of my original hair colour. Are low lights the best to get and what shades are the best for my colour?

    Thanks in advance :)

High lights are brighter than your natural colour - blondes and the like.

Low lights are all darker colours.

You could have some high and low lights put into you hair to break it all up.

If you want to go darker definatly go for low lights. there are loads of shades you can choose from such as a dark golden brown or dark burgundy colour. The low lights are put into packets so your own natural colour will still be there it will just look darker and shinier
