Scart to HDMI, VGA or Composite?

Right so a friend has a DVD player that they need to connect to their new flatscreen tv. Problem is there is only one scart input and this is already being used by the NTL box. I know the NTL box has a second scart input but this is already being used for the Video Player

Basically my options are to go from Scart on the DVD Player to HDMI, VGA or Composite on the TV. Would anyone be able to recommend what would be the cheapest cable that will give a decent picture?
