Brushing my teeth this morning, I stuck out the aul tongue only to discover the front of it has gone a bit brown! It was normal yesterday!

I'm not asking for any medical advice here, just wondering is this something I should go to the dentist with, or a doctor? The dentist & doctor I would normally use both have walk-in clinics on a Saturday morning, no appiontment needed so I can go to either one first thing tomorrow.

You weren't asking the boss for a raise lately or anything?

Can I recommend writing down everything you ate and drank including any medications for the past few days (particularly yesterday)
Your dentist will probably ask you this and you'll be surprised how difficult it can be (also easy to forget something which may be important)

bag of black jacks?? (if so, where did you get them?!)

    No BlackJacks!!!

    Non-Smoker
Not taking medications of any sort... fairly fit & healthy to be honest

Diet is the same as ever really. No drastic changes to anything!

Changed from Listerine mouthwash to Cordisyl (sp) about 2 weeks ago - that's about the only thing..

Corsodyl causes staining on ur teeth I assume also possibly ur tongue and is generally not to be used for longterm use and is more medicated than ur usual mouthwash i.e used for bleeding gums etc... . It is very good for treating certain problems in the mouth but id try switching back to ur reg mouthwash n see how that goes.

My guess is the corsydol, this is strong mouthwash and not for long term use. Ask your dentist or hygienist for advice.

Thanks. I started using it only recently as my wisdom teeth are coming through & had some pain in my gums & the inside of my cheek. I was rinsing with that & using bonjella to keep the pain away!!

It's mostly gone now anyway... but I kept using the corsodyl over the weekend - weird. Anyway the bottle of it is gone now so back to the listerine me thinks!
