" Thoughts for the day - Its great to be home "

I Just saw this posted onfriends FB page... hes just returned from 3 years in OZ .. Just had to post it ( whilst PMFSL):D:D

Ahhh... Isn't it great to be home!...
The Celtic Tiger is dead and gone... nobody has any money... even the banks have no money!... half the country have no jobs... and the other half that do, ARE ON STRIKE!!... There's add's on TV encouraging people to go out and rob houses! - “Get money for gold” - que whacker and half of Finglas orchastrating a break-in spree through most of dublin robbin old grannies necklaces!... You can't actually leave the country IF you want to cause the arse bandits that work in the passport office are “tired” and don't to go to work!... oh, and don't bother trying to call over to the offices to demand your passport gets sorted cause they might 'blow you up'!.... Supposedly you can now murder somebody with a hammer, and get away with it!?... If you go to hospital for an xray they'll give ya a nice shiney copy of your xray picture to stick up on the wall, sure, but don't think they'll bother to actually take the time to check the thing themselves! - sure that'd just be silly!... The Pope is 'sorry' that the Church covered up the fact that half the clergy were handin out more then communion for the past 100 years – a bit late for apologies isn't it? Ah but sure didn't Australia 'appologise' to the aboriginies and sure aren't they all 'grand' now!!!?... “Ireland backs Turkey's bid for the EU” - A cunning plan don't you think – ensuring that Ireland would just about save itself from the unenviable title of 'biggest ****hole in Europe'... The Taxi drivers think that the fact that they have to deal with 'competition' in their industry is “unfair” - now that there aren't people queing for a taxi in the city for 4 hours on a Saturday night in the pissing rain, it's having a detremental effect on the amount of spare cash available now for Tommy Gorman and his mates to go golfing every second day... There's a 2 euro shop on Grafton street now!? What the hell is that all about!?... Our Toaiseach looks like a slug and our health minister “couldn't fit into a helicopter” apparently! - So she went on holidays to New Zealand so that she could feel better about herself (where the national obesity rate is an estimated 26%+)... I could go on... and on.... and on... but anyway, going back to my first point “isn't it great to be home”... Well sure isn't it just! - Cause the way I see it, Irish people in general love to moan! - they love 'an ol moan'... if the country had nothin to moan about, sure people wouldn't know what to be doin with themselves... and obviously enough, right now, they get to moan about pretty much everything... and i think that deep down, as a nation, they're all secretly DELIGHTED!
