Does anybody know if UFC 111 will begin at 3 a.m. or 4 a.m. on Saturday?

It's listed as 3 a.m. but the clocks are going forward...

pre-lims at 3am (saturday night / sunday morning ... not friday night / saturday morning like i stayed up for on the last espn event)

main event is supposed to be 4am, according to lots of the bookies and espn.

im putting my money on a hardy knockout, hard to look past the 11/2 being offered by corals that, with a mir double... nice

Got to agree with you Mark, I think Hardy will KO GSP, I will do a bet on this on Sat.

Me and a few friends always get a few beers in on the big fight nights so the UFC 111 party will be on this week but it's in Limerick! But it's better if it's a UK event as the pub will show them.

Its gonna be a busy night-'Rumble In Rush 3' then back home for 'UFC 111' wouldn't have it any other way :)

Sounds like a plan, enjoy both shows. Can't wait to say I told you so on Sunday (Hardy KOing GSP) ;)

I'd be careful with the start times!

It's thw whole GMT and BST thing. Clocks go forward.

Luckily the Sky listings have sorted that so Sky+ing it is cool.

hardy by KO, I will run naked down my road if this happens, cannot see passed GSP

I would sooner invest my money on the measley 1/6 odds than pick hardy to win by ko

The US clocks go forward the first weekend in April and ours go forward the last weekend in March. So its only us that are going forward this weekend.

So the main card will start at 4am over here(assuming you have put the clock forward an hour). You could always leave your clocks at the same time and then it will start a 3am, then put the clock forward when you go to bed afterwards.

I've really confused everyone now right?? :)

That was a good explanation, but sometimes not everyone is aware of the clocks going forward.

I remember last year i only found out on the Sunday, so i was running an hour late all day which made me miss the 1st have of the football match that was on.

I can live with that, if it was UFC though i'd be pissed!

That's right, sure even if the US went forward that night it wouldn't effect the start time of the show for here as it's -5/7 hours, and since it's an hour back we're getting you'd be an early early as opposed to an hour late :)

will this affect the coverage on espn for the show? from what i understand the clocks go forward an hour at 2am Sunday morning which will automatically become 3am. the prelims start at 2am on espn so does that mean the coverage will just commence with the main card at 3am and we will miss out on the perlims?

....or to avoid confusion ESPN left their schedule unchanged until a more convenient time, why wouldn't the prelims be on at 2am(officially 3am)??

Our time is changing. We aren't entering a time warp.

US clocks went forward three weeks ago. If ours didn't go forward tonight the main card would start at 2am. But our clocks do go forward at 1am so the main card will be starting at 3am our time

Prelims are on now (2am in you put your clocks forward)

Main card starts in 1 hour (3 am if you put the clocks forward, 2 am if you didnt)

Despite the fact that I started a thread on boards, I still missed the first hour of the show!!

Very enjoyable though...ALOT more respect for Hardy.

Don't worry, any respect you had for Hardy will soon be gone, he'll open his dumb mouth soon and start spouting off about something and be back to square 1
