    Can anyone tell me do hotel bars serve on good friday as im thinking of heading away next weekend?

    Yep but you probabaly have to order food too.
    Just go down the offy on friday ffs!

    Hotel bars will serve you on Good Friday as long as you're a resident.

    This, but why the hell is 1 Friday without drinking such a a big deal every year!!!
    Just get a load of cans in on the Thursday evening, have them Friday and thats it if you need it that badly!

    Hate the whole religion thing that this is based on, but still can't get my head around what a big deal is made of not being able to buy a drink for 24 hours!!

    Just heard that too about limerick, a judge has said all pubs can open down there good fri. If one county can have their pubs why cant the rest??
