OK excuse my very basic question guys

Going to Vegas for 4 night in early May. Never been to the US before, booking hotel and flight package tomorrow.

What other documents do i need to sort out for immigration? my passport is grand have 3 years left on it. do i need travel insurance also?? is it compulsory when travelling to the states?

Again sorry for the very basic question but its my first time going to the US

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    thanks

Travel insurance is optional. Make sure you read the ESTA sticky and have the proper permission before flying.

Travel insurance may be optional... but have a look at the cost of health care in the US and be prepared for your jaw to drop. They have the most expensive and most inefficient health care world-wide. All other insurance I would say is optional... but having a health care policy that will take care of you in case you get sick or have an accident is essential.
