    good call, advance wars is amazing and ive seen the latest game quite cheap in XV lately so make that a priority.

    The DS has an astonishing amount of utterly brilliant games, you won't be starved of things to pick up for it..but the pokemon and castlevania games are well worth picking up for starters, though the castlevania games aren't the easiest to find in the shops, I've seen all 3 crop up in the pre-owned sections in recent(-ish) times.

    Oh and definitely Henry Hatsworth as well!

    Chrono trigger is a must. Dragon Quest IV and V. Also, Sim city creator is fun and well suited to the DS.
