Anybody been to one yet? Thinking about making the trek up to one if they are worth while.

    Any feedback?

do you have to be an Engineers Ireland member to attend?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,041 ✭✭✭Brian CivilEng

You don't have to be a member to attend. The next meeting is on 12th April at 9am, none this coming Monday due to Easter. I find them worthwhile, some of the presentations can be a little hit and miss but it is good to keep up to date with what is going on and meet other jobseekers.

would definitely be intersted in going to one of these. going to China to the canton Fair next week (visiting in-laws also) so will attend when I get back. are they advertised on the EI website?

Next meeting is on Monday 19th April in our headquarters on Clyde Road at 9am to 10am.

Guests include - Nicola Reid, principal recruitment consultant with Hudson Technical and Engineering. She will be presenting their recent employment survey.
The survey has highlighted a number of growing engineering sectors and Nicola will be able to give a clear picture of current employment opportunities.
