George Best, certainly the most talented footballer this island has ever produced and one of the most talented to have ever played the game, dies at the age of 59 shortly after having undergone a liver transplant. The operation was carried out due to Best's alcoholism and caused controversy at the time, as he failed to abstain from drink even after recieving the liver.

Described by who? Huge amounts of weapons in Ireland still held by the British army, the British colonial police force and British state sponsored death squads as well as the Free State forces.
