As the title says, my signing day was Tuesday the 23rd and I completely forgot and only remembered about 10 minutes ago. I got the reminder through the post and I have no excuses at all other than I genuinely forgot.

Anybody any advice or past experience to share? I'm ****ting a brick thinking about getting cut-off.

The guy in front of me yesterday in the queue did the same thing. He plain & simple forgot. So he just went in got a ticket for the queries hatch, queued up & they let him sign on no problem.
Advise would be just go down to your office now & explain.
Good luck, I hope you get it resolved.

You won't get cut off but you might end up missing out on a week. Just go in and see them as soon as possible and tell them you missed your signing on and they'll sort it for you. It happens all the time.

    You will be cut off.

Get straight down so SW office and queue up as if you were doing a new claim. Explain to them what happened.

When it happened to me it was because my wife's s/o date and mine were different that month and had been the same up till then... I assumed they were same but weren't. I had also done a couple of interviews and I brought that info with me to show them I wasn't a scrounger.

Don't say you were sick (unless you were at a doctor).

My advice is be honest and upfront. If you do it quick they may reopen existing claim instead of creating new claims. So go down there right now!

Yeah a few people have told me that's what will most likely happen.

I went down, anyway. They were closed due to industrial action. Haha. I'll have to wait another day. Cheers for the responses, guys.

I forgot a few times. There was no problem, I just went in and told them I forgot, they let me sign on, simple as. Didn't lose any payments either.
