Mountpleasant (Dundalk) 5km

Hi,

If anyone feels like a flat fast 5 km over Easter, there is a such a race taking place on the old Newry Road, Dundalk at 1:00 PM on Easter Monday hosted by Mountpleasant AC. Entry is taken at the club rooms on the day from 11:00 AM (10 euro).

The course has been accurately measured by a certified road race measurer.

thanks, presume this is the rescheduled one after the ice at xmas? or is it a different course

Yup - this is the race originally scheduled for January 2nd - so the course is the same.

If I can't get a route map, I will run over it with the Garmin this weekend and post up the course route.

I enjoyed this race yesterday. The blustery conditions prevented good times. A credit to the organisers, with a great spread afterwards, with an entry fee of just €10. If anyone has news of the results it would be greatly appreciated!
