FPS from element M105

just wondering does anyone know the FPS from an element M105 spring?

depending on the gun really for accurate calculations but if for the Ares Scar you'd probably be looking at 360-370ish id say.

If you've already bought the spring (and Im sure someone is going to completely disagree with this, but however) chop a coil or two off the spring and check FPS, and then keep choppin em off till you get it under 328 or so.

Bit butchery, but Ive seen it done!!

was just lookin at them, have a decent spring in the scar already, just cant remember the name of it :rolleyes:

I'd say an average of about 350 in both, maybe a little higher, they tend to be more powerful than the ratings on the package.

arent those gr16's only rated at .8 of a joule? what spring wud bring it closer to the 1 joule mark?

No ive seem loads of them at 320-325fps, so about .98 ish joule.

a promethius MS90 gives ya about 320 in one aswell,
