works ok on Smart Telecom/Digiweb too Tony,

and just for the bit of "satellite tv" trivia:

the guy in the banner bears a striking resemblance to the actor that plays Jack McCoy, DA on 'Law & Order' on the Hallmark channel! :D

in windows xp i used to use the key combo of ALT "print screen" to capture the active window, or just "print screen" to do a full screen capture. the "print screen" button by the way is over to the right on the keyboard, sometimes has to be used in combo with an "Fn" key on other keyboards.

nowadays i just use the snipping tool in windows 7, its also in vista, but it does the same job.

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Use-Snipping-Tool-to-capture-screen-shots

    hope this helps... :)

Simultaneously press Alt and Print Screen for the current window open or Crtl and Print Screen for everything including the Windows XP/Vista/7 toolbar. Paste to your photo software and save as a .jpeg file:)

[EDIT] Damn you xsiborg :) [/EDIT]

Can you access this site via a proxy Tony? Try proxify or else google "Proxy" for a long list of them!

temporary workaround would be to use a site like blockmyip.com

As the website is about trading shares and commodities I'd be very careful about transmitting any credit card details or any sensitive information via proxy Tony. You would need some sort of private VPN I'm thinking.

Try changing your dns settings to opendns or something similar and see if you can get through that way

Changing DNS providers has absolutely no effect on routing to a destination host.

From the looks of the traceroute packets are being dropped on sprints network in the US, so its not a UPC issue per se but an issue on sprints network which is on the path that traffic from UPC's network is routed to the US. Not much you can do unless you try a proxy.

right do a search online for opendns or free dns servers, this will give you 2 ip addresses for whatever dns you are going to use.
Then open up your router configuration page, normally 192.168.1.1, and you will see a section called something like dynamic dns, check to use dymanic dns and enter the 2 ip addresses for server 1 and server 2. Save changes, sometimes the router will reboot and then try access the web page again.

Before you do the above check in the basic setting section and see if there are entries for dns servers there, if so just change them there and don't bother aboput dynamic dns.

In the basic settings you should see something like this

    picture.php?albumid=942&pictureid=5582

    +1

It's not working for me on UPC either. It's not a DNS issue because you would get an immediate error instead of a timeout in your browser. It's almost definitely a UPC/Sprint issue.

I can get on to the site with UPC, but a tracert times out in sprintlink.net.
    How odd.

Did a tracert and it went one hop beyond sprintlink and then timed out so I'm guessing that hop is the ameritrade site.
