FPS adjustment using washers

I have a question about the suitability of using washers to make small adjustments to the FPS of an AEG.

I've found some of those red fibre washers that fit perfectly over the spring guide at the end of the spring, without interfering with the workings. Would this be an acceptable way of adding a few FPS or can someone foresee problems?

    Cheers.

as long as you dont add so many that the piston is able to impact them when its compressed then you'll be fine. :)

Yeah, one or two only :)

Will give it a go and see how successful it is...

yeah you should have about 10mm to play with depending on the type of spring guide in there at the moment, just run the gears and piston by hand afterwards and see how it holds up before shooting it. :)
