I went with On Your Bike 2 years ago - the Etape that year was similar to this year's: Pau, Tourmalet, Hautacam. We flew into Toulouse, and got transported to Argeles Gazost. Aer Lingus are still doing flights to Toulouse, I think?

Im flying with aer lingus on the friday. Make sure to ring before you book to ensure that they will carry the bike. If full, fly to the nearest city and rent a car.
