Getting meteor broadband sim without modem

I'm trying to get a meteor broadband to go sim. I already have an unlocked usb modem.
I tried getting 1 in a meteor store and was told that they don't sell them without a modem. So I rang customer care to see if they'd post 1 or switch over a standard sim for me, and they won't.
Anyone know of a way to get 1 of the broadband to go sims without buying a modem too?

If Meteor won't sell it to you, then the only option would be to buy one from someone else. They probably wouldn't do this though, as they'd be left with a useless modem, so would probably want to sell that too.

Ya, looks like its going to be a bit difficult to get sorted. I just paid for a month with vodafone anyway so i'll look into getting a meteor sim while i'm using that. Can't understand why meteor would turn away a customer though.

If your modem is unlocked walk into any o2 store, they give out the sim cards for free!
