P45 requirement after being on JSB moving 2 JSA

Just curious, lots of people are running out of stamps (JSB) and moving to JSA, apart from the horrendous delays for those moving from JSB to JSA, one request i have noticed on the new claim form is for a copy of P.45. This seems a strange request given those on JSB would have submitted this initially when signing on and probably used the remaining parts of the P.45 along with a P.5O to claim some tax back due to unemployment. I just wondered how are people in this situation expected to produce a P.45?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

I think just go talk to SW office surely they cant want a person to produce a P45 when they have already produced it when signing on for JSB....shouldn't have that on there records already

Thanks for that, it just seems like a bizzare request, most people running out of JSB would have been signed on for 9 or 12 months, doubtful anyone in this situation could produce a P.45

Its the same form for someone coming off JSB to JSA, and someone claiming JSA for the first time. If you are going from JSB to JSA a P45 won't be required, unless you had been working casually and that work has now finished.

Thanks for that cAr0l, I just found it odd the SW were looking for this on the form, i have yet to recieve notification of JSB ending but came across some possible forms and all have the requirement of a p.45. I am not sure if there is a specific form that is sent out for those running out of JSB.
