Official Podcast discussion thread for season 6 [**POSSIBLE SPOILERS**]

In case anyone wants to discuss this and future week's podcast. Possible spoilers in the form of future episode titles, centric episodes and general spoilers ahead.





Here's the summary of this week's podcast (thanks to DarkUFO):

- Possibility of more "storms" will be happening. Storm is a metaphor
- 'The Package' is related to Sun/Jin sideways
- Carlton said Kate's horse wasn't MIB after Damon joked about it.
- They confirmed there were other people before Richard, hence the Statue
- Confirmed Libby will be back and questions will be answered about her
- Highly likely that Desmond will pop up in the current timeline or the sideways in the next few episodes
- There will be more cop Sawyer/Miles scenes
- Near future, one of the characters will be asking someone whether the MIB can only take the form of dead people, and whether Dave was really or not.. an answer will be provided.
- Possible that MIB is telling the truth, and Jacob is lying..

Hurley's friend from Season 2. The guy who appeared on the island in a bathrobe, and was also in the mental institution with Hurley in that flashback. Turned out he was Hurley's imaginary friend or something, basically that he didn't really exist. It could be that he was a real person before that though

Yeah, the episode really wrecked with peoples heads, and it brought up the whole thing if they were all dead or not and questioned the existence of Libby.

Just listening to the podcast now and they both refer to the statue as Taweret, which I don't think they have done before. I thought the statue was a sort of hybrid of different gods, and not one particular one.

I will also take this opportunity to say that I really hate that podcast presenter Kris White. Anyone ever watch the video podcasts which he also presents? What a cúnt. Rant over.

Yeah, I noticed that too. It was kinda confirmed by ABC but this is the first time I've heard the writers say it. Disappointing. It looks nothing like Taweret. Should have been Sobek. But I guess they wanted to explain the four toes.

Yeah, he's so annoying. I skip over his intros. I don't know what they need him for anyway. I mean he just sits there with a mic. Jorge is recording his podcast using his iphone.

They used to be able to, as shown in Season 5 with Amy giving birth to Ethan. Something must have happened after that, possibly The Incident at the Swan station, which caused the pregnancy deaths

Nice revelation about Desmond's episode next week.

I'm thinking he consciously skips between flash-sideways. It should give us some insight into what they actually ARE and how they're relevant. Hopefully.

Though I highly doubt it'll be the end of them. I can see the finale having constant flash-sideways as they've done with the flash-backs/forwards in past years. They've spoken of how we'll see Sawyer/Miles again and I'm guessing that's when.

Didn't really prehash the next episode for obvious reasons if anyone has heard the centrics. One thing i liked is that theu sya What they died for is kinda part 1 of the finale

Geronimo jacks beard, which is Jorge garcias podcast, just had a special final episode.
Things of note. It was, indeed, Hurley who said the numbers that the French crew, including Young Rousseau, heard during s5.

They didn't seem whollly confident about this but claimed that ben and Locke were the ones who shot at the boat with Juliet, Sawyer, Locke, Miles and Charloote in s5. It was a deleted scene so possibly someone who has gotten the DVD can confirm this?

Finally and probably most interestingly Jacob was Ilanas father. It was said in the script but they dropped it.

Yeah, DarkUFO spoiled the Illana/Jacob thing months before the season began. It seems they planned to do an Illana flashback but ran out of time. So they did a reshoot and changed her line in Dr Linus from "Jacob was my father" to "Jacob was the closest thing I ever had to a father". Tying up a potential loose end.

I think they are mistaken about the outrigger shooters. Damon said they had planned to resolve this in season 6 but never got around to it.

I remember noticing Hurley's voice calling out the numbers in season 5. I wish they hadn't abandoned this idea. Would have been a cool time travel twist.

I kind of got the sense they just chose to got rid of her. I know I was really unimpressed with the actress in pretty much every scene she appeared in.
