Places to Camp at Slieve League

    Hey Guys

    Have been googleing to no great effect on somewhere to stay with a camper van up at slieve league in donegal. Would be for one night.

    Campsite or somewhere safe to pull in would be great

    Does anyone know somewhere in the area suitable?

    Would be great to get a nice view up there without going over the side
    :-)

    AFAIK (haven't been there in a while) access to the top car park at Slieve League is no longer open to motorhomes/campers.

    There is some sort of overnight spot at the bottom (and back) of the cliffs, from what I've seen it's a gravel car park with a portaloo and not much else.

    This place http://homepage.eircom.net/~derrylahan/ on the other side of Teeling Bay has spots for campers out the back (with electricity if wanted) that offer a lovely view over the bay and the rear of Slieve League.
