French-Speaking Job

I've just started looking for a job for the Summer and I found an ad online looking for staff in a resort in France. The ad was posted by an Irish company on behalf of the resort and was written in English, however it said that at least conversational French was required from applicants and that any interviews would be conducted through French. It gave an email address for the Irish company asking applicants to send a cover letter and CV.

I was just wondering what language should I write my CV and cover note in?
Seeing as it is an Irish company doing the employing, should I maybe send my CV in English and the cover note in French or would it be best to write the whole thing into French? Or seeing as they didn't specify on the ad, is this actually necessary? :)

If anyone has any idea or has applied for a job like this in the past, I'd really appreciate your advice:)

You can type the CV and cover letter in English. I presume its the Eurodisney job advertised in gumtree.ie that you're talking about. PM me for details about Disney if you like
