Hey,

I'm trying to find a small villa to sleep 2 in the south of france or spain (anywhere with reasonable weather in early/mid october). We want to have a private pool but are happy with a rural location. Would love something on a mountain with stunning views but thats probably just wishful thinking. Also our prefered region would be perpingan (sp?) but we're flexible on this.

Anything I can find is geared towards 4-6 people and priced accordingly.

Do you know of any sites, or indeed Irish people with a second home which they rent out?

Also, how would the weather be between october 8th and 20th in southern europe? I'm guessing late teens early 20's?

Amazing spot but maybe not south enough for you. It's about an hour drive from Rodez (Ryanair).

You could also try sites like angloinfo languedoc or languedocpage and advertise in their forum pages. At that time of year there is plenty of choice but pools in the languedoc will be cooling down unless they are heated.
