Pinnacle 7010x Dual dvb-s + dual-dvb-t card

    Hi,

    I picked up one of these cards for my pc recently.(Dell Vostro 200).
    The card does not auto detect in my pc running Win 7 Ultimate, nor does it detect on Vista Ultimate.

    Does this card need a Pci-e 2 slot as the dell has Pci-e 1 slot.

    Is that the same as a Pinnacle 7010ix? Thats what I have and never had a problem with it in the small pci express slot. See ftp://ftp.pinnaclesys.de/Manual/MediaCenter%20-%20TVCenter%20V.4/PCTV7010iX_EN.pdf. I've never seen any more than one of these slots on a motherbooard.

    Are you sure the card is not faulty?

    Hi Baz, Thanks for the reply, what i mean regarding the Pci e slot is the version. I.E. pci-e v1 and pci-e v2.

    I am getting another one next week from a friend to try, hopefully it`s faulty then i can return it.
