Liability when hiring goods

    Hi,
I recently started a business and one of the things I was looking into was hiring out some of the products. However I'm having difficulty finding out my legal position if someone was hurt or worse while using the items. This of course would be subject to the goods being in good condition and the customer signing a disclaimer.

You should get/seek proper legal advice from a solicitor or indeed insurance advice from an insurance professional.

Undertaking business in the fashion alluded to in your thread would require insurance of sorts. In relation to liability at the time of a given incident it is fair to say it rests with you, your servants or agents.
