Poker in Arkow/Gorey ???

There's a game tonight in Newtownmountkennedy, about 25-30 mins from Arklow. Other than that, I don't know of any games around on a Friday night.

I can't help you for a Friday night, but if its any help at all there's a game every Wed night in Sally O Briens. Its 30 in with 20 rebuy or top up so max spend of 50. They're also running a league to qualify to play off for the poker stars tournament in Sep. It always gets at least two tables and there's a mental 1/2 pot limit cash game after once enough people have been knocked out!

It's on a break at the moment, as the final game of the current league run was played on the 26th, and next Friday being Good Friday the pub is obv closed. But it should be back running on the following Friday.

The new league that will be starting will take the following format:

-The new league for 2010-11 will be starting in April 2010.

-To play in the final night of the new league, you will NOT have to finish in the Top 10 (as was the case in the previous leagues) of the league; once you have made 20 appearances at games during the run of the league, you are eligible.
