Rite, we have notices we have a problem with mice as we saw 1 running across the floor under the couch...

So we buy some mouse traps and bait the with chocolate and every morning we come down to check: the traps are still set but the chocolate completely gone....This morning I found out why, the chocolate is attracting feckin ants which are scoffing the chocolate down leaving me with no bait to catch the mice, and now we have an ant and mouse problem!

    any ideas:confused:

peanut butter on the traps, sticky so harder for ant to get at.

Find out where ants coming from and put down ant powder or if outside boiling water down the hole.

put trap in a saucer full of water, may stop ants getting across?

They make ant traps as well - put some of them down too.
