JSA as a Couple

I applied for JSA a while back and am still waiting for a response. So at the moment I´m trying to budget how much I can expect to receive. I applied for the JSA myself but I´m married and obviously stated this on the form. Will this mean we will get the amount for a couple or will it just be the 196euro?

As you can see I´m really confused on all things related to this :o

Well she would be entitled to JSA aswell but ye may also be entitled to other entitlement since neither of you work.

Thanks. I was reading on welfare.ie that a qualified adult gets 130.10 extra, so would this be included in my application i.e. 196 + 130.10. I basically went in, applied for JSA, did the interview (with my wife there) and now we´re waiting. I take it she could apply for the JSA as well but we never did that, kind of assumed it was included in my application

I was just reading about the quailifed adult and that maybe the payment for your wife as it's unclear if a married couple can both claim JSA.

Yeah, it´s pretty unclear on this alright. I´m going to drop in today and ask them about it.
