Brake piston rewind tools for Renaults and other cars

Following this thread about rewinding rear brake disc pistons on Renaults, maybe it would be a good idea to discuss rewinding (rear) pistons on various cars and the tools you use. Is anyone using circlip pliers for this?

Personally I prefer to have a proper rewind tool. From SteKelly's post in the above thread and my own experience:

Rear brakes on a Renault Scenic II, the Laser 1314 rewind tool with the included adaptors is suitable

Rear brakes on a Renault Laguna II, the Laser 1314 needs to be used with the Laser 4342 No.18 adaptor. The adaptor is purchased separately

On some other cars and vans, pistons need to be rewound anticlockwise. There are professional rewind kits available which include lots of adaptors and both clockwise and anticlockwise winders. These kits can cost over 100 quid though.

Used the Laser 1314 to replace the rear brake pads on my Audi A4. Simple enough to use, and cheap enough to buy.

Wouldn't mind getting a proper kit with all the adaptors and an anti-clockwise screw but can't really justify the expense.

I also got a laser rewind tool. According to their website, the basic tool was fine for our Audi, but I needed an adapter for the Passat. I got the adapter, but it turned out I didn't need it after all so Laser's information doesn't appear to be that accurate.
