Will I be given my backdated JSA?

I was receiving JSB from May 09 to Feb 10. I applied for JSA when JSB ran out at the beginning of Feb.

I had my interview with the JSA inspector yesterday.

I am moving to London in two weeks to begin a course over there, and then I am going to look for work over there.

Before I go, I will inform my local social welfare office that I am leaving.

Will I ever receive payments that I missed from the time I applied in Feb up until the day I leave in two weeks? i.e. will they pay me the backdated payments that I never received while my application was being processed?

    Thanks.

Yes they should do. You need to tell them you are leaving, and want to be paid your JSA up to the date you leave.
