Moving county while on JSA??

    Hi guys. Just wondering does anyone have any information on moving county while receiving job seekers allowance? I've been living in waterford job hunting since september with no luck. Now thinking of moving back to Tipperary as heard of some work coming up in may back home. How does one go about moving local offices, and will my JSA be affected etc. Any info appreciated

    You need to go into your new local office, with proof of your new address. You fill out a short form, and they will request your claim from your waterford office. Payments shouldn't be interrupted, but that will depend on how long Waterford take to send it up really - your new office can't start paying you until they have the file.
