I've only been getting EUR 160 then EUR 153 on Jobseekers Benefit,

I didn't realise that Jobseekers Allowance is EUR 19x until recently, I just applied for "the dole" in my local SW office

Can I switch to Jobseekers Allowance, I assume I can apply, what happens meanwhile am I cut off? and could I enjoy backdated JA, I mean there has been a EUR 30 difference for the last 6 months thats EUR 720

The maximum rate for JSA is 196, but this is means assessed. You may receive less if you are under a certain age, or still living at home with parents, or even have savings or capital to your name. YOu would need to ask in your local office about applying for JSA, and have a means assessment done to see how much you would qualify for on JSA. You should still receive JSB while waiting on the means assessment.
