    Hi Guys,

Is it possible for me to trace the source of an e mail ie. what country (or even more detail) it was sent from?

have you checked the email headers? these usually contain the originating server address, though be warned, this can be faked to appear as something else.

Also, an email sent from an online account will register as being sent from the country the SERVER is located in which is not necessarily the country the USER is in (eg: I could send an email from an American hosted email server and it would look like an american email even though I have sent it from Ireland). Only the ISP/Server Host would know the connection details of the sender and it is very unlikely that they would divulge such information wihtout a very compelling reason.
