I got one of those flyers in the door last week offering the free i-phone with upgrade in 12 months. The way I've read the upgrade offer is that its only going to apply if you dont reduce your price plan in those 12 months. So if you were thinking of signing up for the €60 a month and then dropping to the €45 after 6 months, you wont get the upgrade offer.

Thats how I've interpreted it anyway.

If I'm not mistaken IOS is the distributor for Vodafone.

Some 3rd party company Vodafone have been using to provide Vodafone iPhones before they are officially launched onto the VF network.
It's a funny set-up as in they are 18 month Vodafone contracted phones but they are not allowed to offer Vodafone insurance on the iPhones.

I suppose VF have lost some many customers to o2 they are selling them any which way they can until they are allowed "officially" sell them
