I've been to 14 of the 25 cities. Not sure just how many of the items listed I'd have, but I'd say I'd have a good number of them. I just love to travel.

That list is a bit messed up:

What to photograph in Barcelona: Spain
What to photograph in Dublin: Dublin
What to photograph in Austin: sxsw, sxsw, sxswi
and so on and so on!

I've photographed 19, to varying degrees of quality but majority of them I have something I'm very happy with.

I've six of the top seven on a world scale, that being said I am not sure on what basis the figures are calculated.

    Sounds about right to me.

I've visited all the landmarks listed there. A fun city.

Alcatraz is a must. Worth seeing.
The Wharf/Pier 39 is very nice (historic) and good for shopping.
    Colt Tower
    Union Square
Bay Bridge and Golden Gate Bridge
    Chinatown (old and historic)
Lombard St (seen in many films)

There's loads to do and see.

+1 Alcatraz is amazing at night - you'll get some good shots of the city too from out there. Lombard street is great and if you are going to the Golden gate bridge take the bus - we didn't read the city map too well and failed to notice the left hand side of the map was to a different scale than the right - it's a long long walk :)

take a walk around the random streets - the hills make for some interesting shots (see the bravia add for ideas)

Saulsalito - the other side of the golden gate bridge - rent a bike and cycle across.

Pier 39 it a TOURIST TRAP!

Mama's is a nice restaurant for breakfast - is a bit of a tourist trap(locals not so common) but is well worth it - bit of a que, Check out where it is before you go. Probably in your tourism booklet.

I'm truely pissed off that Australia didn't make the top 25

Actually the omission of Australia would make me doubt the validity of this list. Neither are any Asian countries/sights on it - Great Wall of China for example?

I guess that in the case of the Barcelona list 'Spain' refers to Placa Espana, but 'sxsw' for Austin...something to do with the South by Southwest festival?
